Shimiao joined Vector Capital as an Associate in 2023.

Prior to Vector, Shimiao was an Associate in Mergers and Acquisitions Group at Evercore in New York, where he worked with companies across the Technology, Financial Technology, General Industrials, Transportation and Energy Sectors . Previously, Shimiao worked at GE Energy Financial Services, executing investments in the Energy Sector.

Shimiao graduated from the University of Virginia with a double major in Commerce and Mathematics.
