ChyronHego is the result of the merger in May 2013 of Chyron, a US-based broadcast graphics provider, and Hego, a Swedish sports data and graphics provider. ChyronHego provides graphics products and services for the creation and enhancement of live television production. Its customers include foremost broadcast, cable, satellite, and post-production facilities in most major television markets worldwide.

Insight & Approach

Vector identified ChyronHego as a global leader in the broadcast graphics and sports analytics space. As a public company, ChyronHego was more focused on quarterly earnings than long term growth initiatives, and its potential was underappreciated by the public markets. Vector partnered with management to take the company private in March 2015, allowing ChyronHego to refocus on its existing business and pursue organic and inorganic growth opportunities.

Since the acquisition, Vector has been working closely with ChyronHego to support enhanced growth. We are also actively pursuing strategic acquisitions.
